Richard Scott and Gavin Rain exhibition a success

Richard Scott’s exhibition of his Wonderwomen series opened on Tuesday 13 December in Cape Town to a very appreciative and excited audience. Richard dished up something different for this show and viewers showed their appreciation by buying more than half the works on the first night. Also on show were the works of Gavin Rain. “When I saw Gavin’s work on the Worldart website, I thought it was interesting. Nothing could prepare me for the effect it had when I saw it in real life. This guy is going to be huge one day and respect to Richard for spotting him and inviting him to exhibit with him.” said Cape Town based architect Phillipe Fouché. The exhibition closes on 20 December at the VEO Gallery at 8 Jarvis Street in Greenpoint, Cape Town. The gallery is open daily from 9am – 5pm and Friday to Sunday from 10am – 4pm.
