CAPE TOWN PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL

3 - 27 September 2025

WORLDART is proud to be a selected venue for the Cape Town Photography Festival, presenting two exhibitions that highlight the depth and diversity of contemporary photography.

Naoya Yoshikawa – Family Album

Japanese photographer Naoya Yoshikawa reimagines his father’s black-and-white family snapshots through layering and digital interventions, transforming them into objects of memory. This poignant body of work examines how photography preserves, distorts and reshapes the past.

Unfiltered – Curated by Heidi Erdmann Rasch

Unfiltered brings together a dynamic roster of South African and international photographers, including Roger Ballen (USA), Richard Mark Dobson (UK), Kyu Sang Lee (South Korea), Nomusa Makhubu, Obie Oberholzer, Andreas Werner (Germany) and others.

This exhibition explores photography’s unflinching ability to confront, provoke and reveal — offering a raw lens on contemporary image-making.

Opening Reception: Thursday, 4 September, WORLDART, Cape Town
Exhibition Dates: 4 – 27 September 2025
Venue: WORLDART, 68 Long Street, Cape Town
